Official Status
Appointment as Deputy Commissioner
VRS was appointed as a Deputy Commissioner of the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) on 12th December 2008, see VFSC website at http://www.vfsc.vu/news.html . As Deputy Commissioner, VRS is a direct representative of the Government of Vanuatu and is vested with authority to affix and witness the Commission's official seal to Certificates of Incorporation, Constitutions and Certificates of Good Standing in relation to companies incorporated under the International Companies Act and to designate employees to act as Authorized Officers for the purpose.
As VRS expands the network of Vanuatu's consular offices throughout the world, this authority will allow it to expedite the issue of certificates and other official documents to people and enterprises who need them in connection with critical projects and investments whether they need them issued locally or externally.

To support its status in Vanuatu VRS has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in Vanuatu, VRS (Vanuatu) Ltd., which acts an official Registered Agent to provide the necessary local registered office addresses and any required physical filing of documents or personal representation.
Global Network
Each consul appointed by the Government of Vanuatu on VRS's introduction will enter into a joint venture with VRS and create a local subsidiary of VRS in his local jurisdiction (whether nation-, county- or city-wide). In addition to his appointment as Authorized Officer for impression of the seal of the VFSC, the Consul will have power to certify and legalize documents (including documents for use in court proceedings) and to issue apostilles under the provisions of the Hague Convention.
The entire VRS network will be linked electronically in a secure, group-wide 24/7 information and knowledge management system integrating its document, contact and agenda management. This system is provided by TeamsOffice (www.TeamsOffice.com), a division of Global Team Services Ltd., one of the intermediate holding companies of VRS.
This network will provide the most efficient, fast-response service to corporate service practitioners available in the industry.
